We may use large vehicles which use ‘tail lift offloading’ to deliver goods which you have ordered. This means that in order to make delivery of goods which you have ordered, the delivery address you specify must: :-
• be reasonably easy to locate from the information you provide;
• have suitable and unrestricted access;
- e.g. no overhanging trees, narrow streets, sharp turns, steep gradients, etc.
• have adequate and unrestricted space for the delivery vehicle to park;
- the parking area must not be on pebbles, hardcore or other such soft surface;
• be suitable for unloading the goods; and
- unloading must not be restricted by law
- the delivery area should be tarmac, concrete or similar
- there must not be a pavement or other obstacle which may prevent unloading
You should contact us prior to placing an order if you believe the intended site may not meet the delivery requirements specified above.
If the delivery address you provide fails to meet any of the above requirements and as a result we are reasonably unable to deliver the goods you have ordered, you will be deemed to have failed to accept delivery of the goods.
